Young, Indecisive & Ambitious
Soon afterwards, Benji decided to drop out of Fashion Schoolin 2012, unable to pay for school. Late 2012 Benji fell into the darkest place in his life, lost, broke and homeless & decided to move back to Birmingham.
While going through the motions of being lost and unable, Benji took his frustrations out on creating and drawing. One night while he was sitting at his Grandmother's place, something clicked and begin to customize denim, posting on social media and that's when things jumped off for him.
He finally named his micro business "BV-Denim" and business begin to pick up. Months pasted then the new year arrived (2013) and it was time for something new. It was time to give the audience another piece of his creative world. He begin sewing heavily for special clients, testing the waters and experimenting with different types of fabrics.
He promised himself that he was moving back to Atlanta to finish what he started and he did exactly that!
Networking with different celebrities, Benji booked his first big gig with Lil, Wayne (Young Money, Cash Money) and people begin to support him even more! As business grew rapidly, he adventured off into another category of fashion and started his own website, naming it after himself, BV-Apparel!
